1-Phase Earthing Device<\/p>\n

Ref. SS 428 91 01, EN 61230
\nThe device is for use on the railway’s catenary line and rail. Line clamp JK 21 is for connection to the railway’s catenary line and the earth clamps JK 152\/1 and JK 152\/2 to the railhead. Insulating poles MGV, MDV\/MSV, MTV and operating socket JGS are used to operate the line clamp. The line clamp conducting parts are made of nickel-plated aluminium bronze and steel components are made of stainless steel. The line clamp has stainless steel spring washers to insure constant contact pressure. The earthing cable, made of highly flexible ESTPR-insulated copper strands, has sealed cable connections, which prevent humidity from penetrating the cable.
\nThe earthing cable is connected with a cable lug to the line clamp, and by compression to the earth clamps. The conducting parts of earth clamps are made of veral-alloyed steel with hardened spikes. The loop is made of surface treated spring steel. Other steel components are made of stainless steel.
