SS 428 91 01, EN 61230<br \/>\nThe device is for use on substations and transmission lines.<br \/>\nLine clamp JK 42 is for connection to contact fittings JKA, JKC, JKAD, JBA, and JBC or directly on lines or pipes with max \u00d8 40 mm. Insulating poles MGV, MDV\/MSV and operating socket JGS are used to operate the line clamps.<br \/>\nThe line clamps conducting parts are made of hardened AlSi-alloy and steel components are made of stainless steel.<br \/>\nThe thread has a Heli-Coil insert in stainless steel. The earthing cable, made of highly flexible ESTPR-insulated copper strands, has sealed cable connections, which prevent humidity from penetrating the cable.
