SS 428 91 01, EN 61230
Earth clamps JK 361 and JK 362 are for connection to railway rails as a by-pass at the rail joint. JK 361 is also intended to be used as a earth clamp when earthing the underground’s 3rd rail (see JK115-JK361). The connection is made at the base of the rail, which allows rail vehicles to pass.
The clamps are made of hardened aluminium and equipped with contact plates made of nickel-plated copper. Other parts are of stainless steel. The earth clamp has spring washers to ensure constant contact pressure. The clamp JK 361 has an integrated tool for cleaning the base of the rail. The clamp is equipped with a 1/2″ connection pin for tightening using e.g. ratchet wrench BV5217. Earthing cables are connected to the clamp with a cable lug and M12 bolt joint (2//120 mm2 or 1 pc 185 mm2 earthing cable).
