Hand Grip Section MDV in combination with Insulating Section MSV are used in different combinations as insulating poles when earthing and voltage detection are performed.
Hand grip section MDV is fitted with a hand guard that marks where the hand grip section ends and the insulating section starts. This hand guard must not be exceeded when in use.
The insulating pole is made of yellow, fiberglass reinforced polyvinyl ester and has an outside diameter of 43 mm. The connector fitting is made of nylon. The lower end of hand grip section is fitted with a protective cap made of rubber.
