Operating pole MGV-I is used as an insulating pole when earthing and voltage detection are performed.
The connector fitting at the poles working end accepts accessories such as operation sockets, torque tools, disconnection hooks, fuse holders and voltage detectors. The pole is fitted with a hand guard that marks where the hand grip section ends and the insulating section starts. This hand guard must not be exceeded when in use. The insulating pole is sealed to prevent
humidity penetrating.
The insulating pole is made of yellow, fiberglass reinforced polyvinyl ester and has an outside diameter of 43 mm. The connector fitting is made of nylon. The lower end is fitted with a protective cap made of rubber.
Extension sections MSV are available as required. These sections are fitted to the top fitting of the operating pole.
