Telescopic pole MBT is designed for insulation test of insulators, measuring line areas and setting up warning signs. The pole is also
used for knocking off snow on snow and ice-coated cable/lines. The pole is telescopic and comprises four, six or eight tapered
tubes each with a length of approximately 1400 mm. The top of the pole is equipped with a tool holder with an external 3/8” pipe
thread to which accessories such as insulation testing fork MKL 10, snow removal hook SLK 1 of SLK 2, snow removal stick SLD 1 etc are fitted. The pole is fitted with a hand guard that marks where the hand grip section ends and the insulating section starts. This hand guard must not be exceeded when in use. The pole’s telescopic sections are made of fiberglass reinforced polyvinyl ester.
The top section is sealed against moisture penetration. The thickest tube is fitted with a plastic capat the top to hold the pole together when being transported. The lower end is fitted with a protective cap made of rubber. The pole is also fittedwith a carrying strap.
