3-Phase Earthing Device

Earthing device with universal clamp type JK 27 is specially designed to be included in the service car equipment as it minimizes the number of tools necessary to earth in various types of switchgear and on overhead transmission lines. Hook and cross stick can quickly be detached when the earthing device shall be used in a switchgear.
Line clamp JK 27 is for connection to ball-bolts Ø 20, Ø 25, Ø 30, T-bolt, busbars 1-25 mm, line/tube Ø 6-25 mm. Insulating poles MGV, MDV/MSV and operating socket JGS or insulating pole MRS (with integrated operating socket) are used to operate the line clamps.
The line clamps conducting parts are made of aluminium bronze. Steel components are made of stainless steel. The device has a rubber insulated bayonet type connector fitting for connecting an alternative earthing device such as JK27-DXF, JK238-DXF or JK250-DXF.
The line clamps conducting parts are made of hardened AlSi-alloy. Steel components are surface treated.
The earthing cable is connected to the clamp with a cable lug, M8 (25-50 mm2/ M12 (70-95mm2). The earthing cable, made of highly flexible ESTPR-insulated copper strands, has sealed cable connections, which prevent humidity from penetrating the cable.
