1-Phase Earthing Device

The device JK22-JK360 is for use on the railway’s catenary line, return line and rail. Line clamp JK 22 is for connection to the railway’s catenary line 80-120 mm2 according to SS 24 01 21 and DIN 43 141, return line Cu 130 mm2 or Al 212 mm2 or other circular, non-flexible conductors with a diameter of 14 – 19 mm. Insulating poles MGV, MDV/MSV, MTV and operating socket JGS are used to operate the line clamp. The line clamp conducting parts are made of aluminium bronze and steel components are made of stainless steel. The line clamp has stainless steel spring washers to ensure constant contact pressure. The earthing cable, made of highly flexible ESTPR-insulated copper strands, has sealed cable connections, which prevent humidity from penetrating the cable. The earthing cable is connected to the clamp with a cable lug. Connection earthing cable-cable lug on the earth clamp is reinforced to increase the life span. Earth clamp JK 360 is made of hardened aluminium and equipped with a contact plate made of nickelplated copper. Other parts are of stainless steel. The clamp has an integrated tool for cleaning the base of the rail. The clamp has a 1/2″ connection pin for tightening with e.g. ratchet wrench BV 5217. Earth clamp JK 360 is connected to the base of the rail, which allows rail vehicles to pass.
