1-Phase Earthing Device

The device is for use as “machine earthing”; protection earthing of normally not live line equipment. Clamp JK 238 is for connection to steel structures such as framesworks and bars with a thickness up to 30 mm. The clamp is approved for use on painted surfaces and can also be connected to the base of the rail, which allows rail vehicles to pass. Conducting parts of the clamp are made of surface treated spring steel with hardened spikes. Other steel components are made of stainless steel. The loop is made of spring steel to give a constant contact pressure. The screw is insulated. Clamp JK 360 is made of hardened aluminium and equipped with a contact plate made of nickel-plated copper. Other parts are of stainless steel. The clamp has an integrated tool for cleaning the base of the rail. Earth clamp JK 360 is connected to the base of the rail, which allows rail vehicles to pass. The clamp has stainless steel spring washers, which give a constant contact pressure.
The earthing cable, made of highly flexible ESTPR-insulated copper strands, has sealed cable connections, which prevent humidity from penetrating the cable. The earthing cable is connected to the clamp with a cable lug and screwed joint.
