The conducting parts of the clamp are made of surface treated steel with 36 hardened spikes. The loop is made of nickel-plated spring steel. Other steel components are made of stainless steel. The loop provides a constant contact pressure. The screw is insulated. The earthing cable is connected by compression to the clamp.
