1-Phase Earthing Device

The device is for use on the underground’s conductor rail and rail. Line clamp JK 115 is for connection to the base of the underground’s 3rd rail. Insulating poles MGV and operating socket JGS or insulation pole MGV/JGS 110 are used to operate the line clamp.
The line clamp conducting parts are made of aluminium and and the contact plate of surface treated steel with hardened spikes. Other steel components are made of stainless steel. The line clamp has stainless steel spring washers to ensure constant contact pressure. The earthing cable, made of highly flexible ESTPR-insulated copper strands, has sealed cable connections, which prevent humidity from penetrating the cable. The earthing cable is connected to the clamp with a cable lug and screwed joint. Earth clamp JK 72 is made of nickel-plated Al-bronze and has a contact plate of surface treated steel. Other parts are of stainless steel. The clamps are equipped with stainless steel spring washers, which give a constant contact pressure. Earth clamp JK 72 is connected to the railhead.
