Line earthing device JSKL3-QLE or JSKL3-TGE are for use on overhead transmission lines, low and high voltage 0.4 – 52 kV. Earthing device JSKL3-QLE is equipped with a quick-lock clamp JSKL-QL. This clamp is tightened against the conductor with just one turn. Earthing device JSKL3-TGE is equipped with buttress threaded clamp JSKL-TG. This clamp is tightened against the conductor with a few turns. JSKL-QL and JSKL-TG can be placed diagonally to the line, which significantly simplifies application. Line earthing device JSKL3-QLE is equipped with buttress threaded clamp JSKL-TG. This clamp is tightened against the conductor with a few turns and can be placed diagonally to the line, which significantly simplifies application.
Line clamp’s clamping range: 1-25 mm (Cu 10 mm2 – FeAl 329 mm2). The devices are equipped with an earth clamp JK 75 V. Earth clamp JK 75 V is for connection to Al-, FeAl-and Cu- lines or pipes with Ø 5-16 mm. The C-rod is dividable to allow a voltage detector TAG to be connected.
The line clamps conducting parts are made of hardened AlSi-alloy. Steel components are surface treated. Conducting parts of the earth clamp are made of hardened AlSi-alloy. Other steel components are made of stainless steel. The insulating pole is made of fiberglass reinforced vinyl ester and is sealed. The earthing cable, made of highly flexible ESTPR-insulated copper strands, has sealed cable connections, which prevent humidity from penetrating the cable. The earthing cable is connected to the clamp with a cable lug.
As standard the earthing device is marked for 24 kV.
