Ref. EN 61230, EN 61235, EN 61243-1
For indoor and outdoor use.
Operating pole MTV is used as an insulating pole when earthing and voltage detection are performed in dry conditions. The connector fitting at the poles working end accepts accessories such as operating sockets, torque tools, disconnection hooks, fuse holders and voltage detectors. The pole is fitted with a hand guard that marks where the hand grip section ends and the insulating section starts.
This hand guard must not be exceeded when in use. The top tube is sealed to prevent humidity penetrating. The length for the different voltage levels is adjusted with push buttons (fixed positions).
The insulating pole is made of yellow, fiberglass reinforced polyvinyl ester and has an outside diameter of 47 mm. The connector fitting is made of nylon. The lower end is fitted with a protective cap made of rubber.
Extension sections MSV are available as required. These insulation sections are fitted to the top fitting of the operating pole.
