Support roller MSG 116 is intended to be mounted on equipment stands or similar to facilitate lifting of heavy earthing devices. With the help of the roller it is easy to push the insulating rod with the earthing device up to the connector on the conductor. The roller can be mounted on steel structures with a maximum thickness of 20 mm. Clearance holes for M 16 are required for mounting the support roll.
When placing the earthing tag as high as possible on the equipment rack, the length of the earthing rod can be limited. The length will be slightly longer than the insulator for each voltage.
This principle makes the earthing device easier to lift and the earthing cable will not be touched by the person carrying out the earthing, which increases personal safety.
The picture shows the principle of the earthing design. The earthing device is a connector, JBAS 200, in the form of a bracket that is placed high up on the equipment rack with a bolt connection. A support roller, MSG 116, is placed at the height of the connector to facilitate lifting of the connector.
The earthing connector is a JK42-JK42 or JK47-JK47.
