Ragnar Stålskog AB’s environmental management system was certified on July 11, 2012 according to SS-EN ISO 14001:2004 by the accredited certification company Intertek. This certification complements our quality management system SS-EN ISO 9001, certified since 1996.
The environmental management system is a tool for the company to have an active environmental work to streamline processes, reduce the use of resources and comply with environmental legal requirements.
Environmental work is based on a comprehensive environmental review and is guided by environmental policy, overall objectives and documented procedures for environmental work. The aim is to continuously reduce the overall environmental impact of operations and also contribute to increased efficiency.
Industrial companies have a great responsibility towards the environment. Active and systematic environmental management is important for reducing a company’s environmental impact. Certification is proof that a company has a systematic approach to developing processes and ways of working for continuous improvement.
The fact that our environmental management system is now certified (checked by an independent auditor every year) shows that this work is an important and integral part of the company’s operations.
