Used for lifting heavy earthing devices.
The JUDS hoist consists of two units: conductor clamp JFKL, with block and 22 m polyethylene rope, and splicing unit with splice bar, JML. These are used in combination with two operating poles max. 10 m long.
Clamp JFKL, incl. block and rope, is mounted on a max. 10 m long maneuvering pole. The pull rope is connected to the splicing section’s bar.
Splicing section incl. bar JML is connected between gripper JGS 18 alt. JGS 17 (articulated), and the operating rod that will operate the earthing device, The earthing device is connected to the grip locator.
Clamp JFKL is then connected to the conductor where the earthing device is to be fitted. Then the rod, with the earthing device connected, is hoisted up using the pull rope. After the earthing device has been applied, the operating rod can be released from the clamp by means of the gripper. The clamp is made of hardened AlSi alloy and the steel parts of stainless steel. The joint is made of glass fiber reinforced vinyl ester and the bar is made of coated steel. The pull cord is made of polyethylene.
