POLICY

The quality of both products and operations is essential for companies striving to be competitive in the market.

To ensure and further improve products and operations, Ragnar Stålskog AB has certified its quality management system according to SS-EN ISO 9001 and environmental management system according to SS-EN ISO 14001.

The following policies clarify the company’s approach and actions regarding GDPR ethics, quality and environmental issues.

Ethics policy

We will strive to be perceived by our stakeholders as a sound and successful business conducted with high integrity and morality.

As a company and supplier, Ragnar Stålskog AB shall ensure that our suppliers comply with the laws and regulations that apply in the countries where the business is conducted and respect
the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights.

Ragnar Stålskog AB shall strive to have impeccable business ethics, bribery and corruption must never occur in the company’s business relationships.

We will ensure that conflict minerals are not used in our production.

Quality policy

We will ensure that:
  • Our electrical safety products, such as earthing tools, operating rods, smoke detectors, voltage and phase similarity testers, meet the highest standards of quality, reliability and ease of use.
  • our products and services meet promised delivery times and agreed prices and conditions.
  • work and promote continuous improvement within the company so that high quality is achieved in internal service, administration, behavior, customer relations and that every task we perform becomes a good reference for future business.
  • exceed customers’ and stakeholders’ current and future requirements and expectations regarding products and relationships by engaging everyone in continuous improvement. We will strive for zero defects in everything we do and every employee is responsible for the quality of their work.

Environmental policy

We will work to minimize the environmental impact of our operations and products by

  • minimize the risks of injury and illness to employees, bystanders and users of our products, including through training.
  • work with both customers and suppliers to find solutions that reduce the impact on the environment.
  • conserve energy, water and other natural resources, prevent pollution and reuse and recycle resources – sort waste
  • inform and stimulate our staff to engage, participate and take responsibility in environmental work.
  • operate in accordance with applicable legislation and cooperate with authorities and organizations so that our
  • environmental work is designed in line with society’s environmental objectives.
  • eco-labeled products and suppliers with MLS / environmental policy are used.
  • reduce the environmental impact of production:
  • reducing the use of environmentally hazardous (and harmful) chemicals the product choice principle
  • reduce waste from production (chemicals and production materials)
  • strive for continuous improvement in all areas that give rise to environmental impacts (purchasing, office/administration, transport and logistics, and production).

Conflict minerals

The minerals covered by the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation are tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold (3TG). The EU has decided to introduce new legislation to promote responsible sourcing of minerals by importers, called the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation. The legislation aims to ensure that importers of 3TG minerals source them responsibly and to increase traceability in the supply chain.

We will work to ensure that our operations and products are free of conflict minerals from affected countries by

  • adopt a responsible sourcing policy for minerals and communicate this requirement through our supply chain.
  • implement processes and controls and implement risk mitigation measures to support that policy.
  • sourcing materials from responsible suppliers
  • check suppliers’ documentation for CMRT.

The company is affiliated to the REPA register for the recycling of packaging.
